Use our web technology for your archive project

Our system can be modified to work with your records

To develop the Bevan project we have used open-source Plone CMS technology to produce a feature rich, expandable and flexible web-based system, allowing non-technical individuals to create, edit, manage, search and publish the various kinds of media (text, images, etc.) used in this site. With this system, a group of Town House volunteers has been able to populate this website without technical assistance.

The web technologies we are using have been created in such a way as to allow other organizations the ability to employ them, at low cost, in their own achive projects

If you would like technical information about our systems, pricing information, or general assistance with the optimization of a web-based project, please contact us.

For those with a technical interest, the letters in this system are managed by an add-on product we have built called 'BevanLetter'. This is a highly customisable 'container' that can be supplied separately from the Plone CMS system to those who are already maintaining a Plone-based website.

The Bevan Family Letters website is a micro-site of The Regency Town House website. The Town House is a grade 1 Listed terraced home of the mid-1820s being developed as a heritage centre and museum to focus on the architecture and social history of Brighton & Hove between the 1780s and 1840s.
